I made the cover of "Quilting Arts". It was a wonderful surprise to receive my copy of the magazine and see my quilt on the cover. At the end of August I will be teaching my "Decorative Stitch Thread Painting" at the Baby-Lock Tech 2009 in St. Louis. On Sept. 3rd, I will spend the day with Nancy Zieman in her film studio in Beaver Dam, WI. I will be in a 2 part TV show call "Sewing With Nancy" that will air on PBS in January 2010Monday, August 10, 2009

Congratulations on making the cover of Quilting Arts! Your work is lovely, and although I've only just discovered you, it sounds like many good things are coming your way! I hope to catch that workshop on tv., and maybe in person someday.

I just added a link to your blog from mine. If you get a chance go look at a paper mache sculpture I am working on. I was inspired by the colors of your peice that was featured on the cover of quilting arts. I don't sew but had to have that issue. There was just something that struck a chord- that wild, joyous color...
